Friskis&Svettis Stockholm
Friskis&Svettis Stockholm is Sweden's largest non-profit sports
association (source: Riksidrottsförbundet - the Swedish Sports Confederation). Profit is not the primary goal for a non-profit membership association, and therefore any surplus is reinvested in the business. Members are entitled to attend and vote at the association's annual general meeting.
To purchase an exercise card you must also become a member of Friskis&Svettis Stockholm. Your membership card and exercise card are individual photocards. The photograph is taken on the spot when you purchase your card. For membership, the regulations of the association and the terms and conditions stated below apply.
The association has adopted the regulations and anti-doping policy of the Riksidrottsförbundet. There are drug tests.
Membership, terms and conditions, and exercise card
Membership is individual and is valid for a calendar year. No refunds are available. The exercise card is individual, but may be transferred to another member on payment of a fee. However, this does not apply to cards that have been paid by invoice, dual association cards or exercise cards paid for via autogiro. Lending your membership card or exercise card to someone else is not permitted and can lead to suspension. The exercise card is valid at all facilities belonging to Friskis&Svettis Stockholm.
If you change your mind within seven days of purchasing your exercise card, you can get a refund, minus SEK 90 per session attended and an administration fee of SEK 100. The membership fee for the current year is not refundable.
If you lose your exercise card, a replacement is available on payment of an administration fee (SEK 100).
You cannot "freeze" your exercise card. However, the card may be extended in the event of injury, illness or pregnancy, on presentation of a valid doctor's certificate.
When paying by "autogiro" special terms and conditions apply.

There may be timetable changes; you will find the most recently updated timetable on the website. A reduced timetable and opening hours operate on long weekends and during the summer. The facilities may also be closed periodically for renovation/maintenance. No refunds will be given for missed exercise sessions.
Suspension
F&S Stockholm works to create a welcoming, tolerant and pleasurable exercise environment. Inappropriate behaviour, such as aggressive conduct, threats against other members, officials or staff, visible influence of alcohol/drugs, theft or doping, will not be tolerated in this association and may lead to suspension. Serious cases of eating disorders in members may lead to temporary suspension.
